FREE TAX PREPARATION SERVICES

Trinity Lutheran Church hosted a Free Federal and State Income Taxes session. This was helped by the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide Certified folks - a heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers from this Foundation who made it possible. We look forward to seeing you in 2026!

As a pastor, you never know what the day will bring. Yet, there is no greater joy than witnessing the eyes of a child when you read to them. The kids I read to today at Dr. Lena Edwards Academic Charter School were incredibly attentive and responsive. It was amazing what they learned from reading “A Dolphin Finds a Star.” They shared that they learned to “never give up,” "be kind,” “that your dreams are always close,” and “always believe in yourself.”
There was indeed much more that they shared. I am so grateful for the time spent reading today, and especially for the beautiful thank-you certificate they made for me. This deserves framing. We all must take time for our children; they are our future. Many thanks to Dr. Lena Edwards Academic Charter School.
