FREE TAX PREPARATION SERVICES
Trinity Lutheran Church hosted a Free Federal and State Income Taxes session. This was helped by the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide Certified folks - a heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers from this Foundation who made it possible. We look forward to seeing you in 2026!

READ ACROSS AMERICA
As a pastor, you never know what the day will bring. Yet, there is no greater joy than witnessing the eyes of a child when you read to them. The kids I read to today at Dr. Lena Edwards Academic Charter School were incredibly attentive and responsive. It was amazing what they learned from reading “A Dolphin Finds a Star.” They shared that they learned to “never give up,” "be kind,” “that your dreams are always close,” and “always believe in yourself.”
There was indeed much more that they shared. I am so grateful for the time spent reading today, and especially for the beautiful thank-you certificate they made for me. This deserves framing. We all must take time for our children; they are our future. Many thanks to Dr. Lena Edwards Academic Charter School.

SENIOR BUS TRIP
Trinity Lutheran Church organized a Senior Bus Trip on Tue, April 1, 2025 departing from the church to Kings Family Restaurant & Catering, Newark, NJ. The bus left the church at 11:00 am.
Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourself." [Rm. 12:10]
What a wonderful time we had with our adult community! There was so much laughter, singing and storytelling. One person remarked, "it's great being out opposed to being home depressed." We must take time for those who cared for us through the years.

NJADLA PAINT AND UNWIND EVENT
NJADLA held a day for 'Paint and Unwind' at the Trinity Lutheran Church. Refreshments and fun events made this day a memorable one. With tickets priced at $35, it seems with the blessing of the Lord, everyone had a great time !!

SENIOR SHUFFLE EXERCISE & LINE DANCING
Trinity Lutheran Church organized a Senior Shuffle Exercise and Line Dancing at the Trinity Lutheran Church. Dance instructor Mrs. Annette Megargel-Morris had a great time with the seniors who danced the afternoon away !!
