The Lord Be With You!  Let Us Pray!

Almighty, Loving and Compassionate Father,

we your children come before your presence with praise and thanksgiving.  You word said in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (KJV) “in all things give him glory for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”  Help us dear Father to give you that “anyhow praise” during these challenging times.  Lord, as believers in Jesus Christ, we believe your promise to never leave nor forsake us and we stand on that promise.  No matter what we are going through or how dim the road ahead, 2 Corinthians 5:7 reminds us that we are to “Walk by faith, not by Sight.” Help us Father to love our neighbors the way you love us and show compassion especially during these difficult times.  Help us to be that Good Samaritan spoken about in Luke 10 even if it takes us out of our comfort zone.

Lord we ask that you guide those who are in leadership positions and grant them the wisdom to move forward wisely.  In Proverbs 3:6 (KJV) you said, “In all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy path.”  Let their actions be reflective of your Grace, Love and Peace for your people.

Help us, Oh God, to Stand Firm and Trust You.

Amen

The Lord Be With You!  Let Us Pray!

Heavenly Father,

we humbly offer all Glory, Praise and Honor to your Holy Name!

We thank you for loving us and watching over us daily.

We bare witness to Paul’s confession:

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

                                                        - Romans 8:38-39

Please grant us your peace!  You are our secure shelter, our strong fortress, our refuge and our defense!  We love you Lord!

Amen

The Lord Be With You!  Let Us Pray!

My Lord and My God,

I thank You that You are the Prince of Peace. I offer thanks unto You for You not only calmed the raging storms on the sea, two thousand years ago, but You are still able to calm the stresses and distresses within my heart, and I praise and thank You that You have taken up residency within my life, and for giving me the gift of the Holy Ghost, the Comforter, Who dwells within my heart ….

I thank You that my life has been exchanged for Your life, and that my sinful unrighteousness has been replaced with Your perfect righteousness. Thank You that I not only have peace with God through the forgiveness of sins, through the blood of Jesus Christ, but that I have Your promise of an abiding peace, within my heart when my mind is stayed upon You …..

Keep me I pray from being overwhelmed by the ragings of the world and the tempestuous storms of life, and help me at all times to abide in Your love and to cast all my problems and cares upon You. I know that You have overcome the world and that I may rest securely in You, knowing that I have not been given the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind ….

Father You have called me to be still before You, to rest in Your love and to patiently bear the cross that is set before me, knowing that You are not only at my side every moment of the day but dwelling deep within my heart ….

Help me to depend on You in all things, knowing that nights of sadness will soon be turned into mornings of joy – when You are by my side. Keep me from fretful thoughts and foolish imaginings, knowing that You are my best and heavenly Friend, my Shepherd, my Provider, my Defender – and the Rock of my salvation ….

Draw me every closer to Your heart of love and quiet my spirit, still my soul and instill in my inner being Your perfect peace that passes all understanding. May You be glorified in my life today and help me I pray, to be still and know that You are God — my God in Whom I trust, in Jesus name I pray, Amen …..

Go in peace and serve the Lord!

Amen
